Established in 1990, these magazines have met with acclaim internationally.

Ceramics: Art and Perception aims to set the standard as a dedicated magazine on ceramic art. With a total of 120 pages, it contains substantial articles and regular features on a broad range of ceramics related subjects with excellent colour photographs throughout. More than 12,000 copies are distributed world wide each quarter.

In 1995, a companion magazine, CeramicsTECHNICAL was launched. This magazine focuses on technical research in the field of ceramic art and is designed to be a useful tool for artists and potters.

Janet Mansfield, the editor of Ceramics: Art and Perception has had nearly 30 years of experience as editor of ceramics magazines and has written a number of books on ceramics. She is a well known potter having trained at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia, in 1963 - 65. Her work is represented in international collections and publications. With this magazine Janet Mansfield hopes to provide a serious and thought-provoking forum at the highest standard for ceramic artists, curators, writers, collectors, teachers and students.
